IGCSE & A-Level Chemistry

Live Online Chemistry Classes
That Go Beyond Memorisation

Chemistry rewards students who understand, not just those who remember. Every batch covers equations, calculations, and applications in small groups of 10, taught live by online Chemistry tutors. IGCSE: $49/month. A-Level: $69/month. New batches start every Monday.

What Every Chemistry Batch Covers

Chemistry marks are lost when students recognise a topic but cannot apply it. Each batch closes the gap between knowing the content and using it correctly under exam conditions.

Why Choose Us

Why Small Batches Help in Chemistry

Chemistry is one of the most content-heavy subjects at both IGCSE and A-Level. In large classes, the syllabus can be covered without being understood. A group of ten keeps lessons interactive and focused.

Maximum 10 Students

Small enough for every student to be seen. Large enough to keep the price fair.

The price is fixed

$49/month for IGCSE. $69/month for A-Level. Locked for the life of your batch.

Every Class Recorded

Recordings are shared the same day, so students can revisit any topic.

WhatsApp Doubt Group

Every batch has a WhatsApp group. Questions asked between classes are answered.

Chemistry Batches Are Open for May/June 2027

Every chemistry batch follows a fixed plan built around the May/June 2027 exam session. Batches are capped at 10 students; once full, the next one opens. New batches start every Monday.

Specifications

Every Chemistry batch is built around one syllabus code. The topic order, command words, and practical requirements of that board are followed exactly, from the first class to the last paper.

Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry (0620)

Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry tests recall, application and practical understanding across several papers. The batch is structured so that all three are practised, not just the content students find easiest to memorise.

Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry (4CH1)

The Edexcel International IGCSE Chemistry specification has its own topic order, paper format and mark-allocation logic. Teaching follows Edexcel's structure, not a generic Chemistry sequence.

Cambridge A-Level Chemistry (9701)

Cambridge A-Level Chemistry covers physical, inorganic and organic chemistry across AS and A2. The volume of content is significant, and the batch is planned so that nothing is rushed and organic chemistry gets the time it requires.

Edexcel Int. A-Level Chemistry (IAL)

Edexcel IAL Chemistry is assessed unit by unit, each with its own paper format and mark-scheme expectations. The batch follows that unit structure, so students are prepared for each paper individually, not just the subject as a whole.

FAQs

Questions Parents Ask About the Chemistry Batches

Which Chemistry syllabus does My Tuition Gateway teach?
We teach Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry (0620), Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry (4CH1), Cambridge A-Level Chemistry (9701) and Edexcel IAL Chemistry. Every batch is labelled with its syllabus code, and teaching follows that board's specification from the first class to the last.
My child struggles with mole calculations and organic chemistry. Are these covered properly?
Yes, both are treated as priority areas, not afterthoughts. Mole calculations are introduced with worked examples and revisited across multiple topics. Organic chemistry is taught in a logical sequence so that each reaction type connects to the one before it rather than being memorised in isolation.
Does the batch cover writing and balancing equations?
Yes, and from early in the batch. Equation writing is one of the most consistent sources of lost marks in Chemistry exams at both IGCSE and A-Level. It is addressed directly and practised regularly throughout the course.
Is practical Chemistry covered, not just the written papers?
Yes, required practical methods, experimental observations, gas and ion identification, and result evaluation are all built into the batch. These appear across multiple papers and are not treated as optional content.
How many students are in each Chemistry batch?
Every batch has a maximum of 10 students. That is a firm limit, not a guideline. When a batch reaches 10, it closes, and a new one opens.
Is A-Level Chemistry significantly harder than IGCSE?
Yes, particularly in organic chemistry and physical chemistry calculations. The batch acknowledges this step up. AS content is covered thoroughly before A2 begins, and the more demanding topics are given more time rather than less.
What if my child joins after the batch has already started?
Recordings of earlier sessions are shared when your child joins. The WhatsApp doubt group opens on day one. Most students can keep up with classes while catching up on recordings in their own time.
What if my child misses a class?
Every session is recorded and shared with the batch on the same day. Questions from missed classes can be raised in the WhatsApp group or at the start of the next live session.
Is the free trial really free?
Yes, it is a real, live Chemistry class. Your child joins the actual batch, sees the teacher, hears the explanation style, and experiences the pace. You decide afterwards. No payment is taken before the trial.
Can I cancel after enrolling?
Yes, there is no contract and no minimum period. You pay month-to-month and can stop whenever you choose.

Chemistry Batches Start Every Monday.

Tell us your level (IGCSE or A-Level) and your exam board on WhatsApp. We will send you the batch details and a trial-class invite on the same day.
